We are Luke and Jenni. Our family of three is our greatest blessing, and we are overjoyed to be adding to our family through adoption. We look forward to sharing our family vacations, fishing trips, and movie nights on the couch with your child. We would love to keep connected with you through letters, emails, calls, and visits at your comfort level.
About Us
We met through an online Christian dating site and, as our relationship grew, we shared that we both wanted to adopt in the future. We have now been married for eight years and have our daughter, Belvie, who is five. One of our favorite things to do as a couple is to browse antique stores and flea markets- it’s always so much fun to find little treasures on our hunts. Laughter and fun are the largest part of anything we do as a family. Together, we all enjoy fishing, going to the beach for vacation, spending time in the Smoky Mountains, and visiting with family. We look forward to sharing our family fun with our child and look forward to taking them to the beach on vacation with our extended family!
About Luke
Luke is a quiet, thoughtful, and loving man. He loves deeply and is unafraid to show emotion. His generosity is something that he is known for as well as his honesty. He works as an area safety coordinator for a steel mill, and his favorite part of that job is making sure that workers get home safely to their families. In his free time, he enjoys making knives, hunting, and fishing. Luke enjoys taking our daughter fishing and showing her how to work on and maintain cars. He loves teaching her how to be an independent and self-sufficient young lady. Luke is excited to pass on his love of foraging herbs and roots, camping, hunting, fishing, and being independent to our youngest child as well.
About Jenni
Jenni is caring, insightful, and funny- just to name a few. She is honest and truly has a heart for looking after others. Before having our daughter, Jenni was a teacher in our local school. Once our daughter was born, Jenni resigned to become an amazing stay-at-home mom and spend time teaching our children until they start school. She loves to teach Belvie how to sew and make things and, together, they love cooking and sharing fun new recipes! In her free time, Jenni loves doing crafts like sewing and painting, baking, and listening to music. She is excited to share these same passions with our child and teach them how to cook and make things.
Our Daughter and Family
Our daughter, Belvie (5), is a silly, loud, and cuddly girl. She loves to play hide and seek, mix up batches of muffins and pancakes, and play with our dog, Dobby. We know she will be loving and attentive big sister, and she prays for her future brother or sister every night.
Our extended family is very large, and they are extremely excited about our adoption. We try to see both sides of the family once a month for family gatherings. We each have five siblings and seventeen nieces and nephews. During fall break, we go on a vacation with Jenni’s parents and brother’s family to the beach. Our nieces and nephews are thrilled to have another cousin to love and play with, especially on vacations.
Our Home in Tennessee
Our 3 bedroom home sits on a two-lane country road that has both farms and multiple new homes that make up our neighborhood. There are several children in our neighborhood, and we have wonderful neighbors. Our main room includes the kitchen, living room, and dining room in one large open space. It’s perfect for spending time together even when we are cooking or cleaning up after dinner. We already have the nursery set up with a crib and dresser/changing table. Our back yard is large and fenced so that we can let our dog, Dobby, out anytime. Dobby absolutely loves children- especially Belvie. We have a swing set and plenty of space for our inflatable children’s pool and water sprinkler in the summer.

We look forward to making memories filled with love and fun like family trips, school sporting events, and weekends spent fishing and playing. | A Day in the Life | Luke heads to work early, and Jenni is a stay-at-home mom. She loves to have special activities for playtime, creative time and learning time as well. Our evenings are spent together playing and relaxing as a family. | |
| Our Faith | We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and he came to earth to die for our sins. He rose from the grave to give us eternal life. Our faith is the foundation for how we live our lives, and our child will attend church with us. | |
| Family Traditions | We have several family traditions, but one we have grown to love is all about a Christmas gift. At Christmas, we buy gifts to unwrap together, but we buy tickets to an experience. We want to gift our children with amazing memories. We did an indoor water park this year, and it was so much fun. | |
