Hello from Missouri! We are so excited to grow our family through adoption! We enjoy spending time outside, taking our dogs on walks, and we love getting together with family and friends. We are looking forward to getting to know you and we would love to share ongoing contact, if you’d like.
Our Story
We met several years ago when Chris’s sister set us up on a blind date! We have been together for 6 years now and married for 4. We’ve desired to adopt from the start of our relationship and are so thrilled that the time is finally here! We are so looking forward to including your child in our fun family vacations as well as sharing with them our passion for the great outdoors!
Together we enjoy:
- Hiking and kayaking
- Watching our favorite TV shows
- Playing with our two dogs, Piper and Marlee!
- Exploring the city and finding new restaurants
- Working on DIY projects around the house
- Annual vacations with family
About Chris!
Chris is hard-working, kind, and funny! He is always working on projects around the house and loves learning new skills. Chris works hard in his career as an engineer and is also pursuing a Masters of Divinity to become a pastor in the future. I have no doubt that Chris will make an amazing and loving dad! Chris loves building and fixing anything around the house, and he looks forward to sharing the skills he has learned with your child.

About Haley!
Haley is patient, gracious, and extremely thoughtful. She has a great sense of humor and can always make me smile when I’m having a bad day. She has been such an encouragement to me as we’ve grown together. Haley’s looking forward to taking our child on walks around the neighborhood, on trips to the zoo, and spending time with them at the park. Haley will be a loving, Godly example to your child as they grow, and I know she is excited to share her love of cooking and baking with them.

Our Family
We’re very close with our families and love spending time together! We see our families several times a month and talk with them most days. We also have a new baby niece that recently joined the family, and we can’t wait for her to have a little cousin to play with. Chris’s dad and aunt were both adopted, and everyone is so excited for us to become parents through adoption! Our family often gets together for fun activities and meals together, and we are so excited for your child to get to join in on all the fun!
Our Home in Missouri
We live in a three-bedroom ranch in an established, suburban neighborhood with large trees, active families, and quiet evenings. The open floor plan kitchen is the center of our home, where we spend time entertaining friends and family. We have a fenced backyard and screened porch that has been a great place for grilling out and relaxing on cool summer nights. Our home office gives us a dedicated space to work remotely as our schedules allow. We recently renovated our nursery and are so excited to share that space with your child.
Our Promise
We promise to love and care for your child through all of life’s ups and downs. We will provide a warm, stable home and will strive to put the needs of your child above our own. We will help give them opportunities to develop their talents, skills, and abilities and will instill honorable values in them throughout their life by our leading example. We are praying for you and your child and will seek the Lord’s wisdom and guidance as Christian parents. We promise to share your child’s adoption journey with them as they grow and learn! | Our Traditions | We love Thanksgiving and Christmas in our family! It’s such a sweet time to connect with extended family and celebrate together. Haley always makes her great-grandmother's coffee cake to share with friends and family at Thanksgiving; and Christmas Eve is always a huge gathering of Chris’s aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, parents and siblings! | |
