A Letter from Adam & Stacy
Thanks for looking at our profile! We pray you experience peace and wisdom as you consider adoption for your baby. We live in a peaceful country town in Georgia, an hour from Atlanta. We love being creative, filling our home with vibrant colorful things, our relationship with Jesus and time with our family. We look forward to helping our future child find their own gifts and passions and empowering them to be who they were created to be and use their voice to beautify the world.
Get To Know Us
We are so excited to become first-time parents and are so grateful and humbled to be considered as a possible family for your baby. Most of Stacy’s jobs have been childcare-related, and Adam was even a manny for his nieces and nephews. We hope to homeschool our future children, catering their education to their interests and passions. Stacy was homeschooled and absolutely loved it.
We’ve known each other for twelve years and have been married eight and a half years. When we decided to start dating, we talked about our hopes and we both agreed we’d love to adopt one day. We’ve tried to have a child biologically and after going through infertility we feel this is the time to start our path to adoption. We’re excited to become first-time parents this way!
Meet My Wife, Stacy
I love how caring, nurturing and loyal Stacy is. She makes people feel seen, heard and special. She shares a silly side with the people closest to her, and it’s hilarious and so much fun. I love her appreciation for and attention to the little things that bring joy and beauty. She is an incredibly strong person who will walk through the hard parts of life with others. She is a bright light that brings color, purity, and beauty into the lives she touches.
She can see a creative project and learn how to do it very quickly. She’s really great at building things and loves power tools. Stacy is so creative and looks forward to sharing that with our future child. She enjoys painting, sewing, finger crochet, making pom-pom and party decorations, photography, wood burning, jewelry making, and photo booth props. Stacy also bakes some of the most delicious sourdough bread and sweet treats I’ve ever had. She loves trying new recipes for holidays and parties. She also loves plants, especially succulents, native flowers, and cacti.
Meet My Hubs, Adam
I love the way Adam notices and pays attention to people. He treats everyone with kindness, and compassion. He prioritizes family and I look forward to watching him be a dad. He’s so good with children, and they love him. Adam dreams of creating moments that will become treasured memories for our future children, things like pumpkin patches, Christmas light shows, playing in the back yard, and exploring the woods. He is excited to sing with and over our future children. Adam is so fun to be with. He always knows how to make me laugh.
Adam is incredibly talented as a singer and songwriter. He is constantly humming or singing something. He comes alive when he has the opportunity to sing worship for others or to teach people to sing. He loves to create opportunities for fellowship and friendship. He loves nature walks, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, playing board games and having long dinners with friends and family.
Our Family
We have a big beautiful family! We feel like we won the lottery with our family. When we got married, Stacy’s parents joined right into Adam’s family celebrations. Our parents take turns hosting holidays at their homes. We get together monthly to celebrate birthdays and holidays, and there are usually around 20 people. We also spend time weekly with our parents. Our parents and most of Adam’s sisters and all of our nieces and nephews live within an hour’s drive, but we also have family scattered throughout the US. Adam’s mom is from Belgium and has a huge family that still live there. Our whole family was so excited when we told them about our adoption plans!
Our Home in Georgia
We live in the country surrounded by farms and woods. Our house is a three-bedroom ranch in the middle of two acres of mowed yard and has three acres of woods behind that. We use the formal dining room as Stacy’s art studio, and we turned one of the bedrooms into Adam’s music studio and office. We turned the other bedroom into a colorful nursery filled with the most beautiful round crib and dreamy teal bookshelf dresser that we’ve been filling with children’s books. We are so excited to sit in the nursery with our future child snuggled up, reading books as a family.
We Promise You These Things
Should you choose our family, we promise to honor your role in their life, to speak kindly about you, and to share the story of how our families came together. We promise to make their childhood fun, whimsical, and colorful. We will fill it with joy as we support and cultivate growth as they learn who they are and their unique giftings emerge so they have the ability and confidence to thrive. We promise to share the love of God every day and to share the beauty of who God is with them, empowering them to build their own relationship with Jesus.
Our relationship with you will always be important to us. We love open adoption and are eager to share photos, phone calls, video chats and visits at whatever level you are comfortable with. We’d love to talk or answer any of your questions. Please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.
