Hello from Georgia!
We are so honored that you are taking the time to get to know us a little bit. The two of us have wanted to start a family for over five years. After learning we have fertility issues, we knew we were meant to be adoptive parents! We both work from home and have a ton of time and love to give. To raise a child in our cheerful home is one of the most exciting things we can imagine. We can’t wait to teach our child an appreciation for this beautiful world, provide a top-rate education, cheer them on whether it is during a game or a music performance, and give them all the love we have to give. We look forward to getting to know you!
A little bit about us
We have been married since 2015 and live in a quiet town in Georgia, with easy access to the big city. We run our own education and training business that allows us to work from home, be financially stable, and set our own hours. This gives us plenty of time to enjoy all kinds of activities together including playing music, cooking, cheering on Ole Miss and UGA during football season. We also enjoy taking drives through the countryside to explore small towns, and photography (we even had a photography business for years, so we can’t wait to take lots of pictures of our child!). We are excited to share our passion for life with our child!
My awesome wife Brooke
From the first time I met Brooke, I knew she was one of the most caring and honest people I’d ever known. Brooke is empathic, a hard worker, bright, and a ray of sunshine. She is constantly thinking of ways to make society better. Whether it involves donating to charity or helping a friend with a tough decision, everything she does is to help others. Brooke has played guitar and piano since she was a child, loves to dance and do yoga, roots on her college football teams, and is happy to curl up with a good book. She is looking forward to nurturing our child’s creative skills, furthering their education, and exploring the world with them.
My wonderful husband Jeb
Jeb is the most charismatic, kindest, and smartest person I’ve ever known, and people are naturally drawn to him. What I love most about Jeb is that he is fiercely loyal and protective of those he loves, and he will drop everything to help a friend. He is full of life and keeps me laughing every day! Jeb is a hard worker with varied interests from cooking (homemade pasta and crème brulee are his specialties) to martial arts to playing his latest instrument (digeridoo!). He is smart, knows a lot about Star Wars, and rides horses. He will be an amazing, loving father and I know he’s excited to teach our child all about Star Wars and share in our child’s hobbies and interests.
Our Family
We both have wonderful families that we see as often as possible. Brooke is very close with her parents and is an only child with a very large extended family, most of whom live in Mississippi. Jeb’s parents live in Florida and Pennsylvania, and his sister and her family, including our niece and nephew, live in Georgia about an hour away. They are looking forward to having a cousin to play with, and our parents can’t wait to spoil a grandchild! Everyone is excited to pass on family traditions such as going overboard during holidays (classic holiday movies, lots of decorating, and way too much food), half-birthdays (why wait all year for another celebration?), and annual family trips.
Our home in Georgia
We live in a large, new single-family 4 bedroom home with plenty of space for our family, including our dogs and cat. We love our home as it is very open, keeping everyone connected whether we are in the kitchen, living room, or balcony. We have a great yard for kids to play in, neighbors with young children, and highly rated schools within walking distance. Our neighborhood has a pool, playground, tennis courts, a lake with a walking trail, and is close to multiple parks. We are hard at work on the nursery and gathering things to bring the room to life! We have a nice area in our bedroom for your child so we can keep him/her close until they move to the nursery right down the hall.
Our Promise
We promise to love and care for your child and move heaven and earth to ensure they feel safe and secure and know how much they are loved. We promise to teach kindness, empathy, and respect, with a foundation in faith, for others and the world at large. We will provide them with a strong education while encouraging them to explore their non-academic interests. They will grow up with grandparents, cousins, and family all while creating cherished family moments they can carry with them through life. | Our Special Interests | We love cooking new dishes, gardening, reading a great book, spending time at the pool, playing with our dogs, and exercising. Occasionally, we are a vendor at arts and crafts fairs where we sell photography. | |
| Our Faith | We both grew up in church-going households and are of the Christian faith. We feel it is important to embody spiritual values of kindness and compassion and will teach our child to display those qualities toward others. | |
| Our Musical Interests | We both love music and play musical instruments, a skill we hope to pass on to our child. Brooke plays guitar and piano and has a small guitar collection. She performed vocal solos while in school. Jeb grew up playing viola, even playing with the all-city orchestra. These days his tastes are more eclectic, including the digeridoo and kalimba. | |
