A Letter from Heath & Jaimie
Hello!
We are Heath and Jaimie! Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. As first-time parents, we are excited to grow our family through adoption. We are an active and outgoing couple excited to make new memories and share traditions with your child. We are blessed to live and work with much of our extended family including our parents and some siblings. God had led us to adoption and we are thrilled to share our faith, family, and home with your child! We are open to sharing letters, pictures, and visits.
A Little About Us
We have been together for 7 years and married for 5 years. Heath is a potato farmer on our family farm and Jaimie is an elementary teacher. We love spending time out on the farm together during the summertime!
Our Catholic faith is at the center of our marriage and we are both actively involved at our church, especially with the youth programs. Heath assists with the music ministry, as he loves playing guitar! In our spare time we love traveling, hiking, going for walks with our dogs, and golfing together. Living in Colorado we have the opportunity to take weekend getaways and explore the Rocky Mountains or catch a Rockies game. We are excited to make new memories with your child on all of these adventures and sharing with them our faith and love for music!
About Heath by Jaimie
Heath is one of the strongest and most caring people I have ever met. I was immediately drawn to him for these reasons as well as how important his family and community are to him.
Heath knows how to make me laugh every day and his personality is so much fun to be around. He encourages others and when he isn’t volunteering for the local fire department or farming, he loves hunting, woodworking, cooking, and spending time with family. Heath knew from a young age that he wanted to be a farmer. He is passionate about his work and truly gives it his all. He is looking forward to teaching our child all about the family farm, how to play ball, work with their hands, and share with them his musical talents.
About Jaimie by Heath
Jaimie is a very caring soul whose compassion and love is noticed wherever she goes. Jaimie was destined to be a teacher, her love for children and her ability to make learning fun and memorable is amazing. She always puts her students first does everything in her power to ensure that every single child has what they need to succeed.
Her love for being a teacher stems from her love of family. When not teaching, Jaimie enjoys planning fun trips to visit family, living an active lifestyle, and spending time with our dogs. Health and wellness are very important to her and she looks forward to sharing this passion with our child as well as sharing with them her love for family and adventure!
Our Home in Colorado
We are recently built our new home on our 20-acre property with our future family in mind. Our home has an open layout that will provide space for playing games, making meals together, and hanging out with family. Outside, there will be large areas to play and plenty of space on the porch to spend time together!
We love animals and share our home with three dogs and two goats. Our dogs love going for walks, playing fetch, and playing with kids.
Our home is located just outside of our tight-knit community which has a wonderful school, public library, beautiful parks, and trails for walking and riding bikes.
Our Family
We are blessed to have an amazing family that are all very supportive of our adoption journey.
Family traditions include spending Saturdays exercising together and eating a big breakfast. On Sundays, we go to church and Sunday school and go out for lunch after with our family. Holiday traditions include road trips to Nebraska to visit extended family. We love doing different activities to give back each Christmas, and our little family has started the tradition of wearing matching pajamas (including the dogs) on Christmas morning. We would love to continue these traditions with your child.
Our Promise
We promise to support and love your child unconditionally. We promise to fill our home with laughter and joy, to be a good example to them, and to provide them with all the tools and support necessary to succeed. Faith and education are extremely important to us and will be the foundation for your child’s growth and development. We are very excited for this journey and look forward to supporting your child as they grow and follow their dreams!
